The North Rift Economic Bloc is established and structured as an overarching platform to facilitate a propitious economic, social and cultural cooperation of member counties and enhance cohesion and rapid, sustainable development within this endowed region.
Our overall goal is to improve quality of life for Communities living in the Northern part of Rift Valley by strengthening the economic ties of the region through enhancing productivity and spearheading competitive product positioning for bloc’s produce.
The region is endowed with natural resources, breathtaking sceneries and the magnificent flora and fauna. We are blessed with a rich culture, pleasant climate, wildlife, huge agricultural potential, high tourism prospects and a vast region of land for suitable to any venture of our investor’s choice.
The mosaic of how well the region is endowed as a tourist destination is painted by Nandi County through its unique Sitatunga conservancy, Baringo and its geysers, flamingos, lakes and amazing islands, Turkana and West Pokot Counties and their beautiful people and enchanting cultures.
By improving hospitality and transport infrastructure we make it easier for a tourist to access our region from Samburu, cross Baringo into the Keiyo Escarpments in Elgeyo Marakwet and run with the champions in Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Trans Nzioa then cross West Pokot into Turkana County. At the end of it, we all benefit from injection of Foreign Direct investment from the visitors.
