To promote security and regional cohesion, NOREB is advocating for economic empowerment through diversification of livelihood opportunities. The bloc will also spearhead the coordination of harmonized peace building initiatives by various state and non state actors. It will leverage on development partnerships to establish common markets and watering points along conflict prone border areas to foster harmony and cohesion amongst communities on the region with the ultimate aim of creating borderless counties for trade and investment.
In addition to documenting, preserving and marketing the rich cultural heritage as an exciting tourism product, NOREB actively promotes the fast tracking of the land adjudication process in the region.
